Registration begins at 7 a.m. on Thursday, March 19 for all spring programs + summer camps. Swimming registration began March 17.

Week 3 (July 13-17)

Week 3 ART Maker (6Y-8Y) / (9Y-12Y)


Fill your sumemr days with imagination and a healthy dose of creativity. Make charming artworks at Smeltzer House, sketch in the gardens, and build marvelous creations at Clay Hut. Let’s try different mediums and bounce indoors to outdoors while making art together. Please wear comfortable clothing that you do not mind getting messy and wear closed-toe shoes to class. All supplies are included. Clay projects will be ready for pick up after the firing is complete.

Week 3 Wild Crafts and Métis Arts (8Y-12Y)


Passionate about nature and art? Join Wild Crafts for a hands-on, culturally rich summer camp experience at Gallery@501. Campers will visit the Strathcona Wilderness Centre and Broadmore Lake Park to explore the deep connections between nature, Métis art and wild crafting. Indigenous and non-Indigenous campers come together as earth guardians, learning through artistic expression and traditional Métis practices, including fish scale art, weaving and beadwork. This camp is offered in partnership with local Métis Knowledge Keeper Cheryl Devin and Gallery@501 Instructor and Métis Artist, Theo Donovan. Bus transportation from Gallery@501 to the Strathcona Wilderness Centre is provided, and all supplies are included.

Week 3 Creative GLASS (9Y-14Y) Half Day


Join us at Studio One to explore your creativity in the fused layers of glass. Sketch ideas, plan designs and learn how to work with glass to create stunning artworks. This half-day camp includes breaks and short walks in our beautiful gardens. All supplies are included. Please wear comfortable clothing that you do not mind getting messy and wear closed-toe shoes to class. Glass projects will be ready for pick up after the firing is complete.
