Week 3 Wild Crafts and Métis Arts (8Y-12Y)

Passionate about nature and art? Join Wild Crafts for a hands-on, culturally rich summer camp experience at Gallery@501. Campers will visit the Strathcona Wilderness Centre and Broadmore Lake Park to explore the deep connections between nature, Métis art and wild crafting. Indigenous and non-Indigenous campers come together as earth guardians, learning through artistic expression and traditional Métis practices, including fish scale art, weaving and beadwork. This camp is offered in partnership with local Métis Knowledge Keeper Cheryl Devin and Gallery@501 Instructor and Métis Artist, Theo Donovan. Bus transportation from Gallery@501 to the Strathcona Wilderness Centre is provided, and all supplies are included.
