Spring and summer camp programs are available for advance viewing starting March 4, 2025. Registration begins at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, March 18 for swimming, and Thursday, March 20 for all other programs.

Week 5 (July 28-August 1)

Inspired by NATURE (6Y-8Y) / (9Y-12Y)


This fun and inspiring program will help you connect with nature through art. Try painting, drawing, mixed media and land art – your art adventure awaits! We’ll have a variety of hands-on indoor and outdoor activities that encourage campers to create artworks with natural materials and various art mediums including clay, drawing and more. This full-day camp includes breaks for snacks, lunch, games, and outdoor fun. Please wear comfortable clothing that you do not mind getting messy and wear closed-toe shoes to class. All supplies are included. Clay projects will be ready for pick up after the firing is complete.

SEW Creative (9Y-14Y) Half Day


All are welcome to try sewing their very own charming creations. From threading the needle to stitching the pattern, you will learn the basics of hand and machine sewn craft. We’ll have a blast making new friends while cutting, embellishing, and embroidering various fabrics. This half-day camp includes breaks for short walks outdoors. All supplies are included. Please wear closed-toe shoes to class.

The Science of Art and Photography Camp (9-12Y)


Did you know many Scientists and Artists are friends and collaborators? Immerse yourself in the science behind photography and art making. Get inspired working with nature and inside the studio. by experimenting with watercolour, photography, cyanotype, sculpture and more at Gallery@501 Art Studio. Discover surprising connections between art and science in this week-long camp.Take breaks outdoors (weather permitting) and discover amazing public art around the Community Centre. All supplies are included. Required equipment: digital camera and cable.
