If you've never had an account, you'll need to create one. Select "Create Account" from the top, right hand corner of the home page. If the email address you enter isn't accepted, you may already have an account. Try resetting your password.
Creating your username and password: Your username is your email address and your password is created by you. A password must include three of the following: an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, a number, a punctuation mark. Try a different password if you receive an error message.
If that doesn't work, or you are experiencing any other account or password challenges, phone 780-467-2211 or any recreation facility.
If you have previously registered for a program, owned a Millennium Card or have made a recreation facility booking and do not remember your account password, please reset your password rather than create a new account.
Adding family members/dependents: Login to your account and select "Family/Groups" followed by "Create Group" or "Add".
To register family members/dependents into a course or add new members to your Family/Group, you must be identified as the "Owner" of the Family/Group. To have the "Owner" of your Family/Group changed or to edit a family member's information, phone 780-467-2211 or visit a facility in person.

Create or reset your Recreation Online account. Details in FAQ "How do I set up and manage my
Recreation Online account?".
Online transactions must be made with a credit card or credit on account. If you have a
credit on your account but you can't see it, phone a recreation facility.
PROGRAMS:
Search for programs:In the search bar, enter keywords or the name of the course you are
searching for. Or, select "Registered Programs" and filter by program type.
I want to
be added to a waitlist. If the program you are interested in has a waitlist, you can add
yourself by selecting "Book" and then "Waitlist". You will be able to view what courses you or a
family/group member are waitlisted for by logging into your account, and selecting "My Courses".
Select the down arrow under "Type" and choose "Waitlisted Courses" and then select the relevant
person.
How do I register my dependent into a program? Login to your account or
create a new one; reset your password if you forget yours (which is now managed by you). Go to
the Family/Groups tab and check to see if your dependent is listed under your Family group. If
not, select either "Create Group" or "Add" and enter your dependent's information.
When
registering for a program, you will be given the option of who you are booking. Select the
dependent's name and press "GO" and continue shopping or check out.
Note: To register
family members/dependents into a course or add new members to your Family/Group, you must be

Will I be notified if my
program is cancelled? Yes.
Will I receive a receipt? Yes, it will be sent
to the email used to set up your online account.
Where are the golf programs?
Register for spring and summer golf camps and lessons using Chronogolf. Visit thebroadmoor.ca.
What's the policy for withdrawing or transferring my program enrollment? After a
course starts, refunds will be given up to the beginning of the third class and will be
pro-rated from the time you notify us of your withdrawal. No refunds will be given after the
third class.

Step 1: Login
Step 2: Choose the desired facility and activity.
Step 3: Select the person to book and press "select"
Step 4: From here, you can choose the desired date and time.
Step 5: To book additional family members, select the "continue shopping" button and follow Steps
3 to 5. It is very important to press "Go" after you select which family member to book. Do not
use the browser back button to add items to your cart.
Is my booking confirmed?
Check that your upcoming activity timeslot is booked by logging into your account and select
"Bookings". If you booking is not showing, call a recreation facility or email
recreation@strathcona.ca
If you are unable to attend your activity timeslot, please
cancel before it begins by calling any recreation facility.
After a course starts, refunds will be given up to the beginning of the third class and will be pro-rated from the time you notify us of your withdrawal. No refunds will be given after the third class.
Under/over age limit notifications: Many programs have an age limit for safety reasons.
Ensure that the person you have selected to register for the program is correct. Every individual
who registers for a program must have their own account. You can add family members to your account
by selecting "Family/Groups" and "Create Group".
Age range: The age range displays
like this online: a course for 6 to 8 years is for children who are 6 years old up to (but NOT
including) 8 years of age. So you must be under the age of 8 to register.
Error in date
of birth: A warning will be issued if the incorrect Age Category was selected when setting
up the account. If your child is 2, select the Child category. If your child is 12, please select
the Youth category. If you are 18, please select the Adult category and if you are 65, please select
the Senior category.
Shopping cart: Placing an item into your cart will reserve the
spot for 20 minutes, you have 10 minutes to pay for your spot once you select "Checkout".
Automatic sign out: Your account will automatically log out after 20 minutes of inactivity.
You will be prompted to login again to continue your session.
Why can''t I reset my
family member''s password?If your family member was created under your account, then this
account has assumed the account holder''s contact information including password. If a family member
needs their own password, a separate account should be set up for them.
What is your
privacy policy?
What is the privacy policy during the current
pandemic?Personal information is collected under the authority of section 33(c) of the
Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act and will be used to manage and administer your
Strathcona County recreation program account, including program registration, membership or rentals.
Your information will also be used for purposes of Strathcona County’s pandemic response initiatives
and may be disclosed to designated health services and enforcement organizations as allowed or
required by law. If you have any questions, please contact the Manager of Finance and Business
Operations at 780-467-2211.
Why do I need to enter my birth date? Many of our programs
are age specific, therefore knowing the participant's age is required to validate the registration.
Children 17 years and younger will need to provide day/month/year information; adults and seniors
will be asked for birth month and year only.
Is my personal and financial information
secure? All transactions that Strathcona County processes are Payment Card Industry Data
Security Standard (PCI DSS) and Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FOIP)
compliant.
Is my credit card information kept on file? No, Strathcona County does not
keep your information on file.
What is a CSV number? It's an extra three-digit
combination on the back of your credit card which, when used, provides extra protection from fraud
and theft.
