Build Your Skills - Classic

First Strides - 4 Weeks


For beginner cross-country skiers, this four-week program provides a fun introduction to the sport with guidance from our qualified ski instructors. Participants will learn the fundamentals of weight transfer, diagonal stride, and double poling, while building confidence on skis. The program also introduces basic uphill and downhill techniques, turning skills, and ski touring tips. Equipment selection, waxing, proper winter clothing, and trail etiquette will be covered throughout the program. Day pass included.

Ready for the next step? This three-week program is designed for cross-country skiers who have completed First Strides or have previous classic skiing experience. Participants will review and build on foundational skills such as diagonal stride, wedge turns, step turns, double poling, and one-step double poling. The program focuses on improving technique, developing confidence on varied terrain, and enhancing uphill and downhill manoeuvres in a fun and supportive environment. Day pass included.
