Spring and summer camp programs are available for advance viewing starting March 4, 2025. Registration begins at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, March 18 for swimming, and Thursday, March 20 for all other programs.

Land Based Learning: Fire & Knife


Choose between two exciting options: master the art of building paperless fires and creating feather sticks, or delve into knife carving techniques to craft a spoon or a canoe out of Black Poplar Bark. Both options emphasize developing safe knife skills and practical carving techniques, guided by expert instructors. Whether you're interested in firelighting or carving, this hands-on course offers a comprehensive and engaging learning experience tailored to your interests.

Learn-to-Canoe


Learning to canoe is easier than you think! With an emphasis on the fundamental canoeing skills, our qualified instructors can make this learning process go smoothly and give you confidence on the water. Learn with a friend or your family, Enjoy a new skill that can become a lifelong recreation activity. Note: This program takes place at the Islet Lake Staging Area

Join our guest speaker(s) in this introduction program to the fascinating world of Alberta’s owls. We will then go outside and call for Great Horned and Saw-whet owls. They may hoot back! Dress appropriately for the weather.
