Week 2 (July 6-10)

Week 2 - Mini Adventurers (5Y-6Y)


Get ready for outdoor adventures like bug hunts, scavenger hunts, and trail exploration, where you can discover all kinds of cool things in nature! Build your own nature villages, and dig in the dirt while having fun with hands-on activities. Plus, enjoy free play in the forest to run, imagine, and make awesome memories with new friends!

Week 2 - Trail Blazers (7Y-9Y)


Trail Blazers are ready to take on more adventure! Spend 5 days learning to live & play in the outdoors. Create nature crafts, cook over the fire, learn wilderness skills, all while making new friends and challenging yourself! Build memories as you discover the wonders of nature.

Week 2 - Rangers (10Y-12Y)


Ready for a week of nonstop adventure? Test your skills with epic challenges like shelter building, canoeing, outdoor games, and nature hikes. Push yourself to explore, learn survival basics, and tackle team activities designed to bring out your inner adventurer. It’s a week packed with action, excitement, and outdoor fun you’ll never forget!

Week 2 - Wilderness Safari (6Y-8Y)


Pack your gear and climb aboard our imaginary safari bus, it's time for an adventure! Take a journey through the Beaver Hills Biosphere to discover incredible plants and animals that call this wild place home. Each day is a new expedition: spot wildlife and fill your Animal Passport, make tasty treats, and craft nature-inspired art. Balance on a slackline like a jungle explorer, play safari-themed games, and roam hidden trails with friends. Get ready for a week of discovery, creativity, and outdoor fun—your safari starts here!

Jr. Leadership Camp (13Y-17Y)


1st Year Jr. Outdoor Leaders
Our Junior Outdoor Leader Program cultivates the next generation of environmental stewards and community leaders through hands-on learning and outdoor adventures. Through team-building activities, environmental education and leadership training, campers will gain the skills and confidence needed to volunteer at Strathcona Wilderness Centre camps and in the community. Campers will also spend a night in the backcountry.
