Instructing

Swim Instructor Practicum Experience

This course is for those who have successfully completed their Swim Instructor certification, and would like to get some hands-on experience in the pool. Registrants will be paired with an aquatic instructor and complete a teaching shift with them for the session. Their mentor instructors will help put knowledge and skills from the swim instructor course into an actual swimming lesson. This is a great opportunity for those looking to become employed as a swim instructor- you get some practice and get to know our team too! You can register and complete a Swim Instructor practicum more than once. Regsitrants will be able to select their day of the week and facility. Upon registration you will be contacted via email to select one or more specific shifts that you would like to attend for the duration of the session (10 weeks). Please ensure that your email address on account is accurate when registering.
