Week 3 (July 15-19)

Adventure in Other Worlds (6Y-12Y)

Plunge into the world of storytelling with this performing and visual arts camp. Campers will get inspired by an exhibition of colourful and fantastical artwork at Gallery@501, then they'll transform what they've seen into live performance creations using music, dance, and drama elements!

Inspired by NATURE (6Y-8Y) / (9Y-12Y)

Join us for a fun and inspiring program that will help you connect with nature through art. From painting and drawing to mixed media and land art – the art adventure awaits! We'll have a variety of hands-on indoor and outdoor activities led by enthusiastic instructors, who will help campers to create nature-inspired artworks with natural materials and various art mediums including clay, glass, painting, drawing and more. This full-day camp includes breaks for snacks, lunch, games, and outdoor fun. Please wear comfortable clothing that you do not mind getting messy and wear closed-toe shoes to class. All supplies are included. Clay projects will be ready for pick up after the firing is complete.

SEW Creative (9Y-14Y) Half Day

All are welcome to try their hands at sewing their own charming creations. From threading the needle to stitching the pattern, this camp will walk you through the basics of hand and machine sewn craft. We'll have a blast making new sewing friends while cutting, sewing, embellishing, and embroidering various fabrics. This half-day camp includes breaks for short walks outdoors. All supplies are included. Please wear closed-toe shoes to class.

Wild Crafts (8Y-12Y)

Love the outdoors? Wild about arts and crafts? Look no further than Wild Crafts. Spend three days outside at the Strathcona Wilderness Centre and two days at Gallery@501, exploring the connections between nature and art! Bussing from the Sherwood Park Arena to the Strathcona Wilderness Centre will be provided on Mon-Wed-Fri. All supplies included.
