Glass

Studio One is home to a variety of fused glass programs and workshops for youth and adults to explore their creativity in fusing layers of glass. To ensure the safety of all, participants must be able to work independently and follow Studio One’s glass and tool handling procedures. Finished projects are available for pick up after firing is complete. Please note Studio One is not wheelchair accessible.

Studio One is located on site at Smeltzer House, #1 Broadmoor Boulevard, Sherwood Park, Alberta. More information for in-person programs run out of Studio One can be viewed here.

Family Fusing (9Y+)


Bring your family and friends to this hands-on class to create miniature glass decorations. This class is for one group of up to six participants per booking. All supplies included. No experience required. Returning students are welcome!

Glass Fusing (9Y-17Y)


Cut, shape, embellish and create stunning projects while exploring your creativity in the fused layers of glass. All materials are provided.

Glass Fusing (18Y+)


Explore your creativity in the fused  layers of glass. Starting with fundamentals such as glass handling, cutting, shaping, and assembling, students will design unique fused and slumped glass projects. Courses include different skill levels. Returning students are welcome!

Glass Fusing (55Y+)


Begin your morning creating unique artworks of glass fusing. No experience required.

Glass Fusing Studio Time (18Y+)


Participants must have previous glass experience to participate. This course provides an opportunity to work independently on your own designs within kiln space and studio requirements.

Glass Fusing - Homeschool (9Y-17Y)


Fuse your creativity in the layers of glass and learn techniques for creating your own miniature glass artworks. All supplies included.
